Hi, I am Pooja Kabra.
I’m a writer, artist and a healer.
About Me
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, I love to fill the balance sheet of my life with words and colours. A story teller, a poet, an artist, an Art Therapy practitioner and the founder of Soulful Strokes—a place where art and heart meet. Through this initiative, I conduct workshops in art, writing, and art therapy, creating spaces where creativity and healing conflate. Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses creative processes such as drawing, painting, collaging , movement etc to help individuals explore emotions, explore experiences and support mental well being.
My soul thrives on weaving words and hues in tandem. My writings have featured in over a dozen anthologies, while my artworks have found their way into calendars, coffee table books, and book covers. Two of my hindi poems have been released on the podcast. I have won prizes for art, story telling and poetry by the Asian Literary Society, Beyond the Box, Maayakatha and have won the best story teller title at many online platforms. A passionate dancer at heart, I celebrate with the rhythm of pens and paintbrushes as much as with the rhythm of my footwork.

Broken
